Meet equine dentist Gareth Wigley, a graduate of the highly acclaimed ‘American School of Equine Dentistry’, where he was tutored by Dr. Raymond Hyde D.V.M and is accredited by the institution. He spent several months fine tuning his skills by shadowing a fellow dental practitioner in KY after completing the course.With a passion for working with horses from an early age, Gareth began his career in England as a steeplechase jockey before moving to the United States. He spent 9 years riding at Keeneland for Godolphin, while also breaking in yearling thoroughbreds for a variety of farms in the afternoons. He has a wealth of experience across multiple facets in the industry that has helped Gareth develop into a well-rounded horseman.Gareth’s background and expertise allow him to combine practical and theoretical knowledge of equine dental requirements with a high level of care for the horses he works with. Gareth thoroughly understands the importance of providing top-quality dental care to horses and works diligently to ensure that his clients’ horses are as comfortable and healthy as possible.Gareth currently resides in Midway, KY with his wife Stevie and son Griffin. Stevie is the owner/operator of the Hunter Jumper facility, Cloud Nine Farm.
